Draft statement · Pending review
This statement is based on a limited review of the current website. It is not an accessibility certification or a declaration of full compliance.
1. About this statement
We want visitors to be able to find information about Helin and use this website regardless of ability or the technology they use. This statement covers the Helin website, not the Helin platform, separate documentation sites, or external services.
2. Accessibility standards
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA provide a reference for reviewing this website. They cover making content perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for people with a range of access needs.
Full conformance has not been established. A complete assessment, including assistive-technology testing and testing with disabled users, remains outstanding.
3. Features included in the website
The current implementation includes:
- A declared English page language to help assistive technologies interpret text.
- Named navigation controls, including the menu buttons.
- Associated labels on the newsletter email field.
- Reduced-motion styles for a number of animated effects.
- Headings and a main-content landmark on this page to help visitors navigate its content.
These features are not evidence that every page or interaction meets all accessibility requirements.
4. Limitations and areas still to review
- Video content: some case studies include Vimeo players and automatically loading previews. Caption availability, transcripts, audio descriptions, and the accessibility of every player interaction have not been verified.
- Interactive content: calculators, selectors, flip cards, and forms still need a complete keyboard and screen-reader assessment.
- Visual presentation: site-wide color contrast, focus visibility, text resizing, reading order, and touch-target sizes have not been fully assessed.
- External content: job applications, documentation, and linked documents may have different accessibility features and limitations.
These are review gaps, not a complete list of confirmed accessibility failures. Further testing may identify additional barriers.
5. Feedback and assistance
If you encounter a barrier or need information in another format, use the contact options on our Support page. Please describe:
- The page address and what you were trying to do.
- The difficulty you encountered.
- Your browser, device, or assistive technology, if you are comfortable sharing it.
- The format or assistance that would help you.
You do not need to disclose a medical condition to report an accessibility issue.
6. Review status
This draft reflects a limited review of page structure and selected website features. It does not represent an independent accessibility audit. The statement should be reviewed before publication and updated as testing identifies barriers or improvements are made.
