Calculator and assessment results
When a calculator or assessment displays a result, we automatically store the entered values, calculated result, page, time, currency where relevant, and country when available. This includes initial calculator examples and results updated by changing inputs. We use these records to understand interest in our services and how the tools are used.
This collection does not retain IP addresses or hashed IP identifiers and does not create persistent visitor identifiers, cookies or browser-storage entries. Country is obtained from hosting-provided location information; unavailable locations are recorded as unknown. Access is limited to signed-in Insights users with a verified @helindata.com email address.
Draft update pending legal review: the lawful basis and retention period for these records still require approval. Removing IP addresses does not guarantee that all submitted information is anonymous. Hosting providers may separately process network information.

Helin Data B.V. (“Helin”, “we”, “us”) provides this notice to explain cookies and similar technologies on this website. For information about how we handle personal data more broadly, read our Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies and similar technologies do
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. They can help a website remember information between visits or requests. Session cookies usually expire when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain until their expiry date or until you delete them.
Local storage and session storage are other ways to keep information in your browser. Local storage has no automatic expiry unless the website sets one or you clear it. Session storage normally lasts for the browser tab’s session.
3. What this website currently uses
This website stores your cookie preference in local storage under helin-cookie-consent for 180 days and keeps an anonymous record of each choice. Optional HubSpot, Leadinfo, Google Analytics, Google Ads and embedded videos stay off until you allow them. Authenticated features and hosting services may use essential storage.

We have not copied cookie names or retention periods from the previous website into this inventory, because their use on this website has not been confirmed.
Leadinfo session recording
Provider: Leadinfo B.V. (Netherlands). Purpose: understanding site usage.
Data: page interactions (clicks, scrolling and navigation), device and browser details, and IP-based company recognition. Not collected: form field contents or keystrokes. Forms and Insights pages are blocked from session recording.
Legal basis: consent through the Analytics category. Recording stays off until you allow Analytics; you can withdraw consent using Cookie settings in the footer.
Storage: Leadinfo’s local storage keys starting with snowplowOutQueue_leadinfo, _li_id and _li_ses. Retention: per Leadinfo’s settings; the duration is pending confirmation and will be filled in once confirmed. Clear browser site data to remove existing local storage.
Google Ads — Marketing
Provider: Google Ireland Ltd. Purpose: measuring ad clicks and leads and building remarketing audiences. Google Ads runs only after you allow Marketing; the legal basis is your consent.
Storage: the _gcl_au cookie and _gcl_ls local storage on helindata.com, and the IDE cookie on doubleclick.net.
We use Google Consent Mode v2. The ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage signals default to denied and update when you choose. Advertising signals follow Marketing; analytics storage follows Analytics. No user-provided or hashed contact data is collected by Google Ads.
You can change or withdraw consent through Cookie settings in the footer. Clear existing cookies and local storage through your browser settings.
4. Third-party content and links
Embedded video players make requests to Vimeo, which receives connection information such as your IP address and browser details. Learn more in Vimeo’s Privacy Policy. All embedded players and previews remain blocked until you allow external media. Withdrawing consent removes the players.
Fonts are served from helindata.com; no font requests go to Google. Some images are requested from external providers. An external request does not itself establish that a cookie is set, but it can disclose connection information to that provider.
Links to job openings, documentation and social networks take you to separate websites. Their own privacy and cookie notices apply when you visit them.
5. Your choices
You can use your browser’s privacy settings to view and delete cookies and site data, block third-party cookies, or restrict storage. Deleting cookies alone may not clear local storage; use the browser’s option to clear site data where available. Blocking storage or third-party content may affect some website features.
Choose Accept all, Reject optional, or Customize (Analytics, Marketing and External media) in the cookie banner. Reopen Cookie settings in the footer at any time to change or withdraw your choice. Preferences expire after 180 days, after which we ask again. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice cannot be remembered for a future visit. Withdrawing consent stops embedded players but cannot delete cookies already set by Vimeo; clear those through your browser settings.
6. Changes to this notice
We will review this notice when the website’s services or storage practices change. The final notice should include a verified cookie inventory and any applicable consent choices.
